This four hour itinerary starts with a one hour drive along the Saronic Gulf coast. You'll pass many popular beaches and small islands on your way to the southern tip of Attica and Cape Sounion. This is a wonderful choice for anyone who does not enjoy big cities or too much walking. Your licensed guide is with you throughout the journey.
Once you have arrived at the isolated Temple of Poseidon standing watch over the sea, your guide will unravel its fascinating history. On this ground the ancient Greeks worshiped their god of the sea, Poseidon. The temple was originally made up of 34 Doric style columns and today there are still 15 which are well preserved. You can walk along the ruins at the cliff's edge high above the sea and take in dramatic views of the surrounding heights and sparkling blue water.
There is time for relaxing in the cafe or exploring the site's gift shop before returning to your ship in Piraeus.

1- Depart pier and drive to Cape Sounion- 1 Hour

3- Drive back to pier in Piraeus- 1 hour
